Ram Singh Chehlan, based in Calgary, Canada, is an author and educator whose decades-long educational journey has focused on connecting the next generation with the Punjabi mother tongue, Gurbani, Sikh history, family values and Guru heritage. His experience with Gurmat programs, children's camps, educational seminars and community initiatives across India, Asia, Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States helped inspire the vision for GurGyan Worldwide Academy and the Free GurGyan Digital School.

Decades of educational service with children, parents and Sikh families helped Ram Singh Chehlan recognize a shared aspiration across countries and cultures: parents want their children to grow with strong values while remaining connected to their mother tongue and heritage. This experience inspired an educational approach that brings together Punjabi, Gurbani, Sikh history, family values and modern teaching practices within one meaningful learning framework.
